House Republicans Aren't Doing Enough on Roads

Senate Democratic Leader Gretchen Whitmer gets it right: "[T]he State House made the irrational and ill-advised decision to disregard the Senate-passed plan in lieu of its own proposal that ignores every reality facing our budget and our roads. It is contingent on funding that does not yet exist, would threaten more than $1 billion in additional funding for our schools and local communities who have already been hit so hard in recent years, and even has a built-in self-destruct button for when its math inevitably fails."
