Patriarche Park Playground Re-Dedicated

Families can now enjoy the re-imagined playground at Patriarche Park.

It's more than 10,000 square feet of play area with new equipment and a brick-entry plaza. The mayor of East Lansing says the community made it all possible.

"This was really a tremendous community partnership between the city of East Lansing and the rotary club of East Lansing, said Mayor Nathan Triplett. "We've had so many community members step up and donate their time and their money to help make this project possible to create this incredible playground."

The city also received more than $300,000 dollars in funding from the Michigan Natural Resources trust fund.
